17 Hours to lift off

Have just spent a lovely evening with my family, watching tv, hearing a debate speech and listening to Tim play his guitar. I didn't go near my half-packed suitcase - figure I can spend tomorrow morning racing round like a mad thing. I have a 'to do' list on the bench and, just like last night, will probably be planning more items for the list at 3am... I worked out tonight that my body clock will be at 3am ish when I land in Buenos Aires!! Not sure what the plan is when I land, just know that an Argentian AFS person is going to be there! I'm guessing I will be taken to the domestic airport for a flight up to Puerto Iguazu, which takes just under 2 hours. For those of you who have a map, check out my final destination - just look for the point where Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil meet - and that's it!
I'm not sure when I will be on line again, so thanks for all the good wishes tonight from family and friends.
Hasta pronto!

Sunday afternoon and I should be packing, and here I am on the computer trying to work out how to operate this site. This morning John and I went shopping for a couple of last minute things - dvd's to watch on the plane plus a couple of books to read. I won't have time to sleep! Tonight I am making a favourite meal for the family - one that won't be made again until I'm home. Other than that, 48 hours and counting! I still have to work tomorrow and take photos to load onto the computer.
