Today was movie day. Christie picked Hannah, Tim and me up after lunch to catch the new movie "The Book of Secrets" staring Nicholas Cage. The movie theatre is bigger than Sylvia Park, Hannah tells me, and the kids were thrilled to see that it looked just like the movies in that the "Box Office" (it's called that too) where you buy the tickets, was outside. The movies are cheaper here too - $6 each, although that could be because it was a matinee. The film was good, and follows on after the last one, plus a year or so. After the movies, Tim and Hannah went off with Christie, David and Danielle to stay the night. They went to Wal Mart, ate dinner out at the Red Robin (gourmet burgers) and stayed up late playing on the Wii etc.
We ordered Chinese takeout and had a quiet night here watching old home movies.
John and I were originally going out with Lyn and Sally but Sally was sick and couldn't make it.
Only 2 more sleeps til we start the next stage of our holiday!!!
