Day 2 in Paris saw us buying a ticket on the Open Air bus tour round Paris from a really nice guy in a little tourist shop not far from the hotel.
We waited for the bus for ages before deciding to walk instead. We found the Notre Dame and were blown away by the sheer majesty and excitment of it all. We walked round the whole thing then Hannah decided she wanted to go up the tower. Did I mention that it was freezing and we didn't have our coats? After a reasonably short wait in the freezing cold, we started on the 4oo sprial stone steps. I must admit you do get a fantastic view of Paris from up there. Hannah went up the last 150steps on her own, right to the very very top.....
We finally found the tour bus and took the city tour which was very worthwhile. We also did the blue route which was not exciting but kept us out of the cold!!
