The gods are against us seeing the royal palace. Probably don´t want us getting ideas above our station, or they probably just heard about Hannah. We did the same trip this morning as yesterday only to find the palace closed as it was full and not opening again till 11am which was over an hour to wait. Instead we went to the beautiful catherdral next door and gained peace and serenity instead. After that we just wandered, and ended up at Plaza del Sol where we had morning tea/lunch before catching the metro back to the school district. so.... not much to say today. Hannah is finishing her homework as I am writing, and I should be brushing up on my speech that is to be given today as it is my last class.
Later same day:
Hannah and I have just finished school and have our certificates in our hot little hands. I have 20 mins left on my internet account here and so I will do a little surfing as we probably won´t be back to this particular cafe.
My last classes were a little slow as two of the teachers were feeling unwell and a couple of the students had been up all night. Thursday nights are student nights at some of the discos here and it is not unusual for the students not to turn up to class at all on Fridays. One girl in our class was a no-show. Another of the students had seen her at 7am this morning still partying.
Tomorrow on to Hotel Francisco 1 downtown and back to being a tourist. It has been excellent going to school, mucho hablando en espanol which is very good for us both.
